FAQ about our neighborhood

The following is a list of responsibilities owners ask about most frequently.  Please refer to the Covenants and By-Laws for a complete listing.

Barbecue Grills using propane or charcoal is prohibited by our insurance company for use or storage within 10 feet of any building.  Electric grills are allowed, but please use caution as the siding may melt.

 

Building Issues for which owners are responsible:

- Complete care of doors, decks, windows (including window wells) and skylights - maintenance, paint, repair and replacement.

- Outside water faucets/spigots   - Outside lighting   - Fencing installed by previous owners   - Foundations   - Unit interiors

- Door, window and lighting replacement - requires prior approval of the Board**

- Outside architechural changes/additions - requires prior approval of the Board (this includes satellite dishes and deck changes)**

Trash - Dumpsters are provided for the use of all residents

- Trash should be INSIDE the dumpsters.  DO NOT leave anything outside the dumpster

- Boxes should be broken down and flat and large objects should be disassembled

- Contact the City of St. Peters for removal of large items and appliances (St. Peters phone: 636-477-6600)

Pets - Owners are responsible for cleaning up after pets.  The City of St. Peters and the Association require pets to be leashed. Pets must not be left outside if the resident is not home.  Pets that are outside must be monitored at all times.  

The Association and St. Peters may levy fines against your property when violations occur. 

 

Landscaping - Residents may plant annuals and perennials in landscaped areas directly outside their unit.

 

Board Members - The Board is made up of volunteers.  You are encouraged to join them at all meetings.

 

IMPORTANT!!

OWNERS WHO RENT their units must provide the Board with

emergency contact information for each renter including names and phone numbers

where they can be reached in case there is a fire or other emergency.
